Ukraine is preparing for fresh Russian attacks this week as it marks the one-year anniversary of the invasion. Life has changed dramatically for Ukrainians.
In the country's second-largest city, Kharkiv, residents have been through some of the fiercest fighting in this war.
Last February, Russia held positions just 10km from the town, but within months Ukraine managed to launch one of the most successful counter-offensives of this conflict.
