It's one of those riffs that sound good even played without an amplifier... I've got an old marshall amp and with the right tone settings you could bring the house down. I'm a left-handed guitarist and I always look up to guys like Iommi or Knopfler who invented great new playing styles (Although Knopfler plays right handed, but still)
