Chateau Pontet-Canet is located in the Pauillac appellation, and with its 80 hectares of land is one of the largest chateau in the Medoc. Much of the vineyards of Pontet-Canet are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, the typical variety of Pauillac, which is perfectly adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the terroir of the estate. The wines are full-bodied, famous for their finesse and elegance, have a deep ruby red color. The characteristic bouquet is dominated by black fruits, licorice and plum. With an incredible tannic structure, Pontet-Canet has excellent aging potential.
