This video is about doing your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) when cycling whether it's a road bike or mountain bike it's a good idea to know what your FTP is this way you can gauge your efforts when out riding your bike.
If you want to get stronger and faster on the bike you need to do your FTP about every 4-6 weeks this will help let you know whether you are improving or not.
You also need to make sure you are fully rested before doing this sort of test or your results may not be the best you can do, as this is the case in this one i did i had done a work out the day before with heavy weights and on the indoor trainer so my functional threshold power wasn't high as it could have been.
You should consult your Doctor before doing any strenuous exercise or workout, if you have any dizziness or pain you should stop immediately, you do this workout at your own risk.
