Also to go on your guys comment's of when you left the game to now revisiting it and really enjoying the game. Yes, when you had left around that time wave 2 was behind. There was a lot you had missed out on not keeping up with the other expansions. Having a wider card pool and just having access to better spells, conjurations and allies makes for a much better experience.

Weeping Sprit: You have to trust in the heart of your cards.
Steven: Yes, you are right. I see it now. Thank you.

(Steven plays Weeping Sprit and laughs in amusement. Zach is caught off guard by the sudden change in Steven's behavior.)

Zach: I think the pressure of the game has gotten to you. You have lost it brother.
Steven: Your last attack sealed your fate! Now, behold of power of Weeping Sprit! Now go and end this battle once and for all! Power up strike!
Zach: Wait! What is happening now?! You mean to say that little guy has some teeth!

Is Jessa's ability really considered to be a "reaction"? It's not a reaction spell. And "other reactions", according to the rulebook, are indicated by a blue box. So according to rules, Jessa's ability is not a "reaction".

To add on to your comment earlier about Zach as to how many players may play in a game. I have played a 4 player free- for-all battle royal style game among three of my friends. Or you could do teams of 2v2 or just have two games running and rotate those that have won with those that have lost to play the next games. It was a bit long, but it is possible as long as you have enough dice to share. That is why I bought doubles of the core box and the two expansions.

what’s the minimum investment required to get into ashes rn with the reboot to get a full experience of the game? and what exactly would I need to buy?

I am super interested in ashes based on the praise of so many, but I’m wary because i’m knee deep in skytear content that’s currently taking up my whole expandable game budget 🤣

With the revision of the new dice power do you guys feel the goat dice is overpowering. We have been testing the new rules and it seems an ally based deck is always superior because of the pullbacks from the dice and the damage going down to only 1
