Hello, I recently got a camellia plant but it’s leaves have all turned crispy. There are small buds but I don’t know if they are viable anymore. Would you suggest i prune or back completely to encourage new leaf growth?

Sir, I am from Kanpur temp. 40-43 degree, I buy mother plant of camellia, in Jan it gives new leaves, but staring of april the leaves turn brown and drop, today I see that top stem is getting brown and dead, I cut the effected stem, please suggest me how to save my plant.
