I have recently walked away. I did it from an emotionally based place because I found out he went out with another woman. So that instant I gathered my stuff and walked away. I’m laying in bed not sleeping but instead running everything through my mind, doubting my choice, watching YouTube videos. You saying I choose me. That was powerful. I did choose me. It’s not easy but realizing that’s impulsively what I did makes this ick feeling worth it. Thank you for saying that.

I decided to let go of a good guy friend of mine whom we got into a weird place where we both kind of had feelings, and wanted to get closer, but yet i am the only one putting all the effort and it's becoming tiring and exhausting, for me lately and i just feel like he doesn't really mean what he says or values my efforts and that sucks. So i choose my peace, and told him I'm stepping back and letting go.
