I made this video only because Redot used Godot's momentum to leech off goodwill, aka rush opening donations ASAP and leech. This damages Godot and any other Godot fork, so I had to make this video since no one else covered this insane story. Also Bioblaze is coding as we speak, so he cannot defend himself publicly with a full story, so I had to make this video.

Well, except the "he left because his mother died, not because he saw we are frauds", I had to mention that. I still can't believe any person would drop such a huge lie, to maintain a false public perception that everything is going great. For a fork?!

That's why politically/drama-driven forks never go anywhere.

Forks like Redot are masquerading as legitimate, original projects—when in reality, they’re nothing more than glorified cherry-picks of other developers' hard work. These so-called "meta-forks" do nothing more than take commits from existing Godot forks, repackage them, and then release them under a different name. But that's not where the scam ends—these projects are actively asking for donations from unsuspecting users and developers while contributing little to the engine's actual development.

Here's the problem: Redot and similar forks are built on the backs of other people's work. They don't contribute anything new to the engine themselves. Instead, they scour through other forks—whether it’s bug fixes, performance improvements, or platform-specific patches—and simply bundle them up and release them as "new" versions of Godot. And yet, these forks present themselves as if they’re providing unique value, and in some cases, even go as far as to ask for donations or crowdfunding.
