FYI, you do not NEED the ECS Tuning Installation Kit - you can reuse all of your stock components if you want. I wanted to keep all of my stock suspension intact, so I opted to buy the ECS Tuning Installation Kit.

You know, it didn't look bad before the spring install. I'm not a tucked or zero-finger gap person, so I prefer some space btwn the tire and fender. Mild drops are the best (imho) as far as I am concerned. When you start going crazy low, you jack w/the suspension geometry then have to buy more pieces to compensate for that bad geometry...

how do i know if i have adaptive suspension? also if i do, would it make any difference of using the bilstein? i’m currently on h&r sport springs in stock suspension M sport and it’s decent ride quality, i just want a bit stiffer on highway roads sondes it’s my daily driver.

What’s the verdict on the H&R’s & B8’s? I’m on BC coilovers and there’s some bounce at low speed/ start-stop driving. I think the dampers are not very great and small bump sensitivity is basically non-existent. Considering your setup or H&R SS’s. Nice ride BTW. Thanks

I have stock BMW E 30 convertible 1987 stick shift - B6 with stock springs or B8 with H&R sport springs? Roads around where I live are nice... i’m OK with sportier feel, but I don’t wanna have it super hard like a go cart

You don't show how to build the struts!! We have these and our springs seem to be loose in them. Can you show how you put the strut and spring together

I thought proper measurement should be from the centre of the wheel/hub to the edge of the fender

How much is considered “lowered” ? I have h&r springs and my vehicle drops 1.75inches in the front and 1.50inches in the rear. They currently don’t make a B8 for my application so would i be good with just B6??

Question what does the strut connect to since mines rusted and would like to replace it but don’t know what’s it’s called it also holds the rotor I guess
