How to apply for a payment plan online with the IRS

Apply for an IRS payment plan online to save you time and money. This only works online when you have a total IRS balance under $50,000. If your balance is over $50,000 you will either need to call the IRS to get set up on a payment plan, or get the balance under $50,000 then apply for the payment plan online.
