NASA's Cassini prepares for grand finale

NASA's unmanned spacecraft, Cassini, has begun to carry out its final mission - plunging into the gap between the planet Saturn and its rings. The seven-meter long spacecraft was launched in 1997 and began orbiting the planet in 2004. However, the American space agency says the craft is now running low on fuel, and will make a "death plunge" into Saturn's surface on September 15 later this year.
