Cooper Flagg scored 42 points in Duke’s 86-78 win over Notre Dame.
It’s the most by a Blue Devil freshman in history, the most by an ACC freshman ever and the most at Cameron Indoor Stadium since 1976.
Flagg, finished 11-14, including 4-6 from behind the arc, and added 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
A Duke social media post boasted Cooper leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks, earned a 4.0 GPA and just turned 18!
The last time a Blue Devil tallied more than 35 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds was Jon Scheyer in 2009.
He is now, of course, Flagg’s coach.
Fourth ranked Duke next plays Miami.
