I love this game and it's complexity, strategy and historical focus, but these are also reasons people can find it hard to get into Hoi4. The endless spreadsheets, statistics, buffs and debuffs can be overwhelming without someone to show you the ropes, which is where this channel comes in!

I will be creating and posting beginners guides, tutorials, walkthroughs, tips and tricks videos, just about everything I can to get you playing and enjoying Hearts of Iron IV as much as I do!

I am a big fan of Paradox global strategy games in general: although before HOI 4 I played only CK 3 and EU 4, I want to play the whole “line” (adding Stellaris and Victoria 3 to the list later).
What’s interesting about HOI 4, is that how it feels really different from the others. It’s pretty short on a single playthrough, but replayability is on much higher level in my opinion. Although you should be ready for your butt to be kicked a few times, especially on higher difficulty settings.

Any ADHD people on here that play the game? I am very interested in trying it out, but this seems like it might be a bit overwhelming. Would be very interested in anyone's experiences with HOI4 that have ADHD that can get in the way of gaming. Thanks!

I'm not playing it anymore for a year, so tired of this game. I had 1700 hours in like... 4.5 years.
I felt like I've done everything that could be done. And it terms of mods - Equestria at war is the best mod no doubt. :)

Nah mate it does not, 6 years old game still lacks the content from Hoi3 and they add it with dlc. Those dlcs lacks lots of content as well and they came one each year. It's also still so buggy and lags a lot. It drains your entire processor's power throught the time. It is fun to play yes but these things I wrote kills that fun in long run.
