Van Halen – Intruder/Pretty Woman (Drum Cover)

This comes off the Diver Down album released in 1982. If you listen to the original drums, it sounds like Intruder and Pretty Woman were recorded separately at different times in completely different studios... or just mixed differently. I tried to find a sound that was halfway between the two drum mixes, lol! Rock on, groovy peeps!🤘🤘

Wow, Mike, this brings back memories. I was six years old when this came out and I remember my brother playing it in constant rotation in our bedroom. Intruder had such a sinister sound to it and gave me an unsettled feeling at such a young age. Then when Pretty Woman started it was like a release of built up energy! Even though I "understand" it now, I can still feel that unsettled feeling in me so many years later. Thanks for the great memory and wonderful playing.
