I've been using the 11-inch 2018 iPad Pro since just shortly after it was released. It's been a fantastic device that still does what I need it to and Apple is still supporting it with the latest OS releases. I did however, pick up an M2 version this week for a number of reasons. The primary being that I bought it for a really good price, Another reason is future-proofing. Yes, Apple still supports the A12X model, but I suspect that it won''t be for much longer. The M2 hardware on the other hand, will be viable for a good while. I tend to hang on to my devices before upgrading and if there ever was a model that is sure to be future-proof, it's the M-class Pros.

Got mine a few days ago for personal entertainment use, got the 2tb one, no regrets. I am using as solely as a second tv since I’ve got a bunch streaming apps, three of which are live tv apps for when I’m at the office.

The M2 iPad is my first ever iPad. And I hope it will get good updates as the years pass by. It’s a really good machine and I love it. Has had no hiccups at all. I really wish stage manager was refined and better. But that’s coming with iPadOS 17 so I’m looking forward to it.

Hi! I just discovered your YouTube channel through this video and i am really surprised by your content. I like it a lot. I want your advice! I have the a12z 12.9 inch maxed out iPad Pro for like 2.5 years. I have some problems with it in that time. Should i buy the 1tb iPad Pro 12.9 inch with m2 or wait for the m3 iPad Pro? Currently i am using the iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil as a computer. I plan on buying the M1 Max MacBook Pro 16 inch. Should i just buy the MacBook and stick with my current iPad for like 1 more year until the m3 iPad Pro is out or should i buy both the MacBook and the m2 iPad Pro?

Also I am Still using iPhone 13 Pro Max, didn't feel need to upgrade it to iPhone 14 pro 😁

Should I upgrade to the newest iPad Pro M2 if I’m coming from a 7th gen iPad? I only use it for school literally just notes and downloading pdf

I don’t feel it’s a “pro tip’ to recommending higher RAM and SSD. The iOS app RAM usage is intentionally limited by Apple. Hard disk storage is also not as crucial as most iOS app data is stored on the cloud. For 90% of iPad users you will never use more than the base spec.

Question for you. Which should I buy? $1, 000 for an M1 12.9-Inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi + Cellular - 256GB (Unlocked) or $950 for an M2 12.9-Inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi - 128GB? I mainly use the iPad for productivity and media consumption. Both are new.
