An altercation outside of a takeout restaurant in Philadelphia escalated into a deadly shooting overnight.

People growing up in Philadelphia don't know how to swallow their pride. Getting into ego battles is not wise. Sometimes you need to think smarter, be 3 steps ahead and see the outcomes of your actions before you make them. I was in Philly and had to swallow my pride to avoid conflicts several times. Not because I felt someone could beat me in a fight but because I didn't feel right about the overall mood. Even had to do that with loud mouth kids barely 13. I can tell when someone is behaving in a way that is too confident then there may be potential hidden dangers lurking. Always see the world through the lens of what others may be able to do to you and not just what you can do to them. It could save a life.
