I know I'm late to the party, but I found you on Goodreads when researching a book and I saw you had a YouTube channel. I instantly became hooked when I heard you talking about your favorite books of 2020. I look forward to more videos from you and thanks for adding more books to my ever-growing TBR pile.

Anxious people is my #1 as well! I’ve since started making my way through the rest of fredrik backmans books...

Currently reading the invisible life of addie larue and loving it, as long as the end is good I think it’s definitely top 3 for me!

Have you read the midnight library yet?! I remember in your Goodreads awards reaction you wanted to read it? That makes my top 3 too, definitely recommend :)

I read 100 books in 2020 and it was SO hard to pick favorites! I thought "The Guest List" was great. I loved the Agatha Christie vibes! I just posted a video on my channel going through all the books I read in 2020 and talking about how I read so much.

I don't know if I am too late to comment this but I would definitely recommend Marie Lu's "Legend" series. It is by far one of my most loved series I have ever read (only if you have the time of course, no pressure).

Also, you said "Shadow and Bone" as one of the books you have read from Marie Lu but I believe that series is from Leigh Bardugo ^.^

I loved The Guest List! I think it’s important to know before you read that it is a Mystery, not a Thriller. Very “Agatha Christie” ish. My life was completely on hold for the last part of the book!!!

The Scholomance has an excellent and believable world building but Novik really struggled when it comes to writing action scenes or descriptions in general. At the end of the book, i have still no idea what the material of the school walls. Are they granite or metal? What colour they are? Are they bronze gold or gun grey? The book could be sooo much better if Novik had worked on her descriptions.

Thanks for the list. I am curious what you thought about Stuart Tandon's Book and the latest book in the Stormlight Archive

So then we've witnessed another cycle around the sun, but that does'nt make your list less worthy!

I Love Anxious People by Backman, have been through it twice, once in Audio, and most of his books in Swedish ( I'm Norwegian, so our languages are'nt that much apart!). I also cried and laughed a lot, this is by far his most hilarious book, don't you think.
Started watching the series based upon this book yesterday (Netflix), and though it's far from being as good as the book (series never does a book the real favor, right!?), I'll grade it fairly decent.

Am in the middle of "To Sleep in..." by Paolini right now, guessing Soft Blade will regrow Kira's hand😁. We'll see about that!

BTW, do read more Scifi, you probably won't regret it. Start with Becky Chambers, her books are sweet, and there's a strong link to "To sleep In A..."!

Marie Lu didn't write the Shadow and Bones trilogy. Just curious, did you not like a different Marie Lu trilogy or are you mixing her up with Leigh Bardugo?
