The constant fight in the mid was awesome to watch.

Guard held the ground with massive tanks and BVLLs, sledgehammer against sledgehammer and the IG was harder. Blue team tried to trade monsters and tanks piece by piece with the baneblades...

In the far corner of the Imperium, one of the million world's inhabitants suddenly woke up to the horrible grim reality of the 42nd Millenium. A Tyranid infestation broke out in the heavily urbanized region of their planet. Planetary defence forces immediately took arms against this dire threat but ofcourse, PDF alone wouldn't be enough for even the smallest Tyranid infestation even with their ever vigilant Lord Commissar leading them.

The planetary governor then immediately called for pyskers and tech priests to begin rituals of communication and translation to send pleas of help to Segmentum command before veil of warp envelops the planet rendering communication nigh impossible. Segmentum command hastily redirected a detachment of elite Vostroyan firstborn regiment to the planet under the command of a famed Lord General.

Meanwhile, forces of Chaos, Khorne worshipper to be exact smelled the blood of conflict and descended upon the planet. Hoping to satisfy their master's thirst for blood and gain his favour as Khorne doesn't care from where the blood flows or from whom.

In quick response to the threat of Chaos and their plans of summonings using blood spilt on this conflict came Sons of Titan, clad in grey&gold, protected by their Aegis armour, strong with their holy arms and vehicles, relentless with their faith in The Emperor and ever vigilant against Chaos. Started to purge of planet's any and all human lives that witnessed the existence of Chaos.

Segmentum command was shocked by these news that the Emperor's own Grey Knights purging loyal citizens and soldiers of The Emperor where there was no previous taint of Chaos had existed. After the moment of shock, the command has sent word to a young and ambitious Inquisitor with her elite cadre of Tallarn desert raiders to halt the purge and return the planet to the Imperial fold with its populace.

She arrived at the orbit of the planet right in time it seemed. She saw a massive 3 way battle being fought in a major city hub. Grey Knights prioritized purging their fellow Imperials before engaging the forces of Chaos and Tyranids who are trying to create a foothold. She immediately deployed her troops, further bolstering guard forces and joined to the battle in her pursuit of greatness and glory; She simply ignored inquiring about the purge or even contacting GreyKnights. Eager to prove herself to her order.

In her mind her orders were clear. The planet must be secured with its populace, returning it to the fold of the Imperium by the orders from Segmentum Command disregarding any other opposition whether it is from the Xenos, heretics or fellow Imperial forces.

In the grim darkness of the 42nd millennia, there is only war.

Something I never understand is how my teammates, despite losing units, manage to get BB + t3 unit and I am stuck and the worst thing is that if I lose 1 unit it costs too much to be able to replace it.

What units do you want from Tyranids in Tier 2 against Imperial Guards? For me, I'll get 2 or maybe 3 Zoanthrope anyway since other range or melee will get shred easily. And you also get Tier 3 upgrade to support Carnifex. Not to mention the fact that Zoanthrope counter mass infantry support for Tank and Super Heavy Tank that's gonna come out anyway. So I'll would say, Blue team unit composition at least should be better to deal with Imperial Guards late game Tank spam

Purifiers with flamers feel like a good choice against guard.
