Brunch review at Galia’s Pastelería in Madrid!

Spoiler alert: 12/10

We got the croque madame, shakshuka, brownie, far too much coffee, and pastries to go!

Croque madame: 10/10: buttery + airy croissant, you can tell a true French person made this it was every type of divine

Shakshuka: 10/10: I think the eggs were quail, they were small but delicious and the yolks were halfway boiled so you still got the gooey of the yolk without it seeping out everywhere

Brownie: 11/10: you could SEE the vanilla bean in the creme and the caramelized pecans were heavenly

Coffee + hot cocoa: 12/10: they knew how to make a proper flat white and the cocoa was thick but not sludge… perfect

I recommend the pistachio eclair and raspberry chili eclair (yes it sounds weird but I promise it’s so worth it) — I’m still dreaming about both
