Playa de Las Americas | Things To Do in TENERIFE

Playa de las Americas in Costa Adeje (literally just down the road from Los Cristianos) is one of the most popular resorts on Tenerife. There are loads of beaches, food galore, shopping heaven and - last but the opposite of least - nightlife that knows no sleep.

So… Playa de las Americas, where it’s all about partying. It is a purpose-built tourist resort in the south of the island and it’s true, it certainly is the capital of partying.

A popular stretch is Las Veronicas. - Veronicas strip or “Beronicas”, if you want to use the local lingo, is the place to head for free shots on entry, cheap drinks all night and a 6am chuck out.

You’ll find tonnes of places to eat and drink and lots of Brits enjoying the balmy weather as well, so you won’t feel too far from home.

Think loud music, neon lights, souvenir shops… The list is endless! - Exciting! There’s also Starco Centre, which hosts some big-name DJs. Unfortunately we didn’t make it there but we do have links to other videos so feel free to check those out.

So until about 10 or 11 at night, everything is pretty PG-rated but after that, things get livelier. The hardcore clubbers are out until the early hours, making the most of those cheap drinks. - Ay why not, who can blame them?

Don’t come here is you’re after a night of authentic Canarian cuisine and relaxation. You’re not going to find it! It’s all about fast food, bright lights and cheap booze. Definitely true.
