I bawled my eyes out, He was pierced for our wrongs and that fills my entire soul with sorrow. But then...I smile and tears of joy and eternal gratitude flow from my eyes, for the gift you have given us all Jesus. Hope, joy, peace, FORGIVENESS, love, and so much more! Yeshua Lord of all took that cross with every one of us on His mind, praise Jesus, Hallelujah!!

We are saved for what He did. I can't wrap my mind around the suffering He endured. Even watching movies, I know they are actors. But just knowing what he went through, and of all the people who didn't deserve such pain, there is no one more underserving than Jesus was. How can I ever understand such love and such mercy? Such compassion to put yourself through something like this, so that the people who are harming you, and all the ones to come forever after, can know God? I can't put it into words, can barely comprehend it. I can only praise Him and thank Him and never, ever take what He did for granted.

Dear Father, thank You for your Mercy, for sending us your Son, so that we might one day be able to join you in Glory and Peace. I pray for this world, for myself and everyone, that we overcome our wickedness and greed, our pettiness and self-hatred, to take advantage of this mighty gift that You offer. Praise you Lord! Praise Jesus, your Holy Son! Thank you Holy Spirit, for helping us to reach out and to receive such a blessing. Praise You God, Forever!! Amen!!

This depiction of our Lord and Savior's persecution brought me to tears. We can all believe Jesus to be the Son of the Living God now or we can believe later. That choice is ours to make. We will, however, all KNOW and there will be no doubt for any of us sooner or later. I look forward to the day, the hour and the minute when HE takes me to my eternal home! Thank you, dear Jesus, for your immeasurable sacrifice that you made for each and every one of us. And thank You, dear Father, for giving us the incredible GIFT of your Son. Amen.
