I've been an Apple fanatic and customer from the moment Steve Jobs conceived the company. I didn't mind paying slightly more because I knew I was getting extremely high quality, high tech, innovative, reliable products. But I can no longer support Apple simply because I can no longer afford to buy Apple. A thousand dollars for a monitor stand! Really? Apple, who is your customer? It's no longer me.

At that price point I'd just custom build a PC. And save a shit ton of money. Get a nice gtx 2060/80, ryzen processor, SSDs ( yes I said SSDs), at least 32 gigs of RAM, a hdd and a water cooling compatible cabinet.

The only way apple will release a responsibly priced PC is if people stop buying there over priced shit.. For $6000 you could build or even buy a pre-built machine with much better specs. For workstation, or gaming. Their Mac Pros performance can be had for significantly less than $6000. I guarantee they aren't putting an RTX 2080, or 2080ti GPU in this thing. So what is the reason to buy a computer for that much?
