This video is A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! THANK YOU!!! So many YouTube videos lately are: shop with me, shopping haul, new home decor, decorate with me. Often times making me feel so inadequate. The love you put into homemaking instead of "stuff" brought tears to my eyes. I needed that! Also, THANK YOU for letting that sweet boy fuss in the video. That's relatable, and was an extra plus (he's an absolute dolly).Thank you, from one busy Mama to another; for a new, healthy, and SATISFYING outlook as a busy Wife and Mom.

I am 43 years old and have three children and husband, and until last year, we did not own a mobile device at all! My husband still does not have one, and I bought one for emergencies in the car --- I am never on it. A lifetime of not relying on a cell phone and not being addicted - I raised my kids in the parks and playgrounds and was the only mom not on a phone. I use my computer for email if I need to. We don't even use our landline unless we have to. It's a really important topic (much researched) and much needed to be discussed in our society. Good luck with your phone challenge! =)

I broke the social media addiction 2 1/2 years ago. Best thing I ever did. Never had Twitter. Ditched Facebook and Instagram. I eat less, shop less and sleep more. Not to mention I am not consumed with other people's opinions and meanness. I miss A LOT of stuff, but I am ok with that.

I enjoyed watching your day. Those of us that dream of farm life need channels like this. So refreshing to hear someone trying to cut the addictive cord with social media. As a YouTuber I imagine that it is challenging to find the balance. YouTube is as far as I go, and it is only channels like this that make the cut. I’m thankful that I grew up in a time where social media consisted of a harvest gold wall mounted dial phone with a six foot cord to reach mine and my sister’s rooms. Phone privileges were limited to 15 minutes...total! However, without this wonderful technology, I never would have discovered your channel. Thank you for sharing your days and family with us. Every mama knows that “I’m so tired but I don’t want to give in so I fuss and climb all over Mama!” 😢🥱 Love making bread by candlelight. I can just smell your wonderful kitchen aroma! Danny is adorable; I love your videos too. Don't be so hard on yourself about the phone, you devote so much time to your home, children and everything else you do that a little "me" time on the phone is ok. I honestly don't know how you do it all. I admire you, I couldn't do it. I would be physically exhausted all the time.

I turned off my computer for 3 days. I was amazed at how much I got done, with peace of mind, and much less anxiety. Our world is so noisy. That's it! I'm taking my life back. Daniel is a doll.

You have a beautiful life! You work so hard for your family. I grew up long before cell phones and I am amazed at who everyone is talking to. My grandchild are on their phones constantly. I have to complete for their attention.
