Honda Accord, Replace Fuse for 12V Accessory Power Outlet

Показать описание

In this video I replace the fuse for my 2013 9th generation Honda Accord Accessory 12V Outlet in the center of the dashboard. This information applies to 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Honda Accord model years. I blew the fuse about a week ago during a road trip and now I am getting back to figuring out where the fuse is and where the fuse puller and spares fuses are at. The replacement fuse type is ATM-LP and for the accessory outlet on the dashboard in the center of the dash is rated at 20 Amps 20A so the part number would be ATM-20LP .

Thank you! I found the fuses BUT I was having a heck of a time trying to pull. Tried needle nose pliers, tried tweezers, just slip slip and a lot of cursing. LOL
Had no idea there's a *puller* under the hood. YOU are a HERO ... But daaaang, I'm a small girl and even I can't contort the right angle to get at those fuses, let alone to get an arm and fingers there to pull and even when I'm *this close*, I'm so twisted I have zero strength and torque to pull the fuse! HTF to mechanics do this? There has to be a trick.
***update*** Success, yay me! I had to pull it blind, locate, feel, place puller, yank, feel, pop in new - all with my body, head and eyes out of the way. I have a 2016 Honda Civic Sport. Soooo grateful to you! The usb ports just don't charge my phone as fast as the accessory (lighter) port. YOU'RE THE BEST!

It worked Thx. I appreciate your help. For example, if you have a 20 amp fuse, you can replace that with 7.5, 10, or 15 amp fuse instead. If you put the 20 amp fuse, do not put 25 or above amp fuse, that will fuse the higher amp fuse.

Wow what a simple fix, Honda was going to charge about 300 just for diagnostics! It took me about 3 minutes to fix a 3 year old problem

I know they don't make anything easy but yes buy a package of fuses with all sizes so you have them and I go through a lot because they seem to burn out fast when we use the accessory outlets for some reason . Great share !

For Crosstour 2013, center console power outlet fuse is located on passenger side. Slot no 12.
