I wish I could refill it so that the mechanism is refillable

The twist packaging seems more sanitary tbh, cleansing balm gets so nasty real quick

I feel like that top mechnism would be super easy to make a reusable cpntainer from, where you buy the top bit novalty item and then there are refils for the product itself. Perhaps via a thin insert?

I love your content! I used to recruit packaging engineers several years ago and always felt your jobs were so interesting! ❤

I wish there was any easier way to make things reusable but I know that every store cant have 60 pumps of different products to fill reusable containers

It’s more hygienic, not just a novelty. Most likely would be best for products that are more solid than cream as well.

if they made a sustainable refill i could see it being worth it!

Its better for product contamination apparently. Tho im unsure about certain products that need to be fairly closed to stay good. I say its probably fine, due to its need. I think people have too much product anyways, and they would be better to just buy one product at time that is needed, verses getting duplicates to really slow down plastic consumption

Cleansing oil > cleansing balm. And there are so many good cleansing oils that offer cheap refill pouches.

It would if you could take the twist part off and have a refill (wrapped in like a wax paper like hotel soaps) you could stick in there and reuse

The Body Shop has a cleansing balm in 100% tin packaging. Not my favorite company nor my favorite product, but I'd like to see more companies use tin packaging.

I just got a sulfur based cleanser, not quite a balm, that's been around for a time (Rosette cleansing paste, it Japanese), and it has a plastic disc with a hole in the middle so you just push the disc down and the cleanser comes out the middle very neatly. It's such a smart design, that uses very little extra plastic.

Considered it seems to be a more hygienic option I guess it’s worth it. However they should have invested more into a refillable version with the refills being blocks of cleansing balm packaged in mostly paper packaging

(I just realized i said packaging A LOT)

This is why I prefer tube balm cleansers. Easier to portion a standard amount of product each use.

The thing is it actually makes it more sanitary and the product last longer. There really should be a refill function.

If it’s refillable i would say it’s great!

Personally i love novelty items like this, and i dont see the harm in buying a one and done of this, especially since some people like to collect.

Now in the everyday use department it should have a refill options

What’s the purpose of the twisting vs pumping vs just grabbing out of the jar?? It’s a cleansing balm. Not moisturizer or a serum
