It was emotional in the weight that killing a person carry, and did a tremendous job bringing Joel, and Ellie closer together. Loved the joker book, they nailed the truck ride, and really made all the decisions feel like they matter. Love it so good every episode is just spectacular.

Bella Ramsy was REALLY good has Ellie in this episode.
And I really like that they gave depth to the "Hunters" they weren't that deep in the game as FEDRA and FireFlies.

I love how the trailer shows not only Henry and Sam but also highlights the parallel most of us draw from the difference between the two pairs using a scene of Henry attempting to shelter Sam opposed to how Joel and Ellie grow to work as a 50/50 team

I remember seeing the concept art after playing the game for the first time and I came across the drawing with Ellie and Joel laughing around a campfire. The last scene in the episode more than made up for that. Thank you, creators and artists.
