I remember when I first saw this teaser. It wasn't just the music that was creepy, but the look in eyes of the Crystal Gems set up the feeling that they don't know what they're up against. It still gives me goosebumps after rewatching it

The order that the Gems (not including Steven) appear in the heart spinning sequence is the same order in which they gain their memories back.

coming back here after watching the movie, I realize this music is the opening chords of drift away

Fun Fact: the melody of the teaser trailer is almost identical to the begging of Drift Away. This was done intentionally!

If you look very closely at the new viallan chest you will see that this heart does belong to this new gem if only you have good quality.

God I can remember how much I used to love this teaser, although it would give me nightmares because I was only young when I saw it. I love the reverse music and spinels laugh, it’s very creepy. Hopefully I’m not the only one that thinks that
