Everyone talks about Bella being a bleep word but she told them both she loved them but she loved Edward more. It wasn't exactly a secret. Jacob made his feeling for her perfectly clear and kissed her once against her will while Edward watched her sleep at night without permission so...they both have issues if this was really happening though most females tend to swoon over Edward's creeping on Bella in her sleep and chastise Jacob for kissing her without permission. Edward said he'd let Bella go in the tent if she changed her mind and chose Jacob over him but I don't believe he'd have let up on charming her one bit in an attempt to influence her to his side if he had needed to. She looks quite frightened to hear Jacob's response when she asks if he'd imprinted on anyone yet. (The whole imprinting on Renesmee thing makes me puke so I pretend it away mostly.)
