Years ago when my son was maybe 13, (my husband was on remote tour out of the states) a man who was an acquaintance of mine asked my son if he wanted to come over for a sleepover with somy other youths at his house. I said absolutely Not. It could have been innocent. He may have not intended to do something wrong. Other youths were there. But I didn’t feel right and even though my son got mad, he got over it, I went with my feelings. Parents need to always protect their most precious gift.
