Software engineer dropped a lot of valuable sites for aspiring developers. Brave to him for sharing those resources.

These are some of the most nuanced conversation that will help people not to entirely rely on paycheck to paycheck living. It's a wonderful think that you guys are making this project happen and bringing it to life.

Finally! A video based in my hometown area. Thank you for showing this as I’ve always been curious about done of the other industries outside of tech here.

This is great content. Owning a business isn’t for everyone, you have to find what makes you happy. On the other side, these vids are great because it shows people so many different businesses that can be created in these industries and niches. Either way, you do you and be happy 🤙

Okay, I live in Oakland and I've learned from watching this video that I need to stop complaining about how much I make because I'm doing hella well!!!

As someone who moved to SF 6 months ago, I can’t stress how underpaid many people are. I work in healthcare and make 100k however my rent is 3k for a small studio, which is actually pretty cheap for this area. I pay 36k in rent and that’s NOT including utilities. Heck even a parking spot is $300/month. Now, living in SF, I also get taxed like crazy for city benefits (literally half my paycheck). And with other things like medical bills, food, etc…it’s impossible. So yeah I’m barely making it here.

It shows you what it takes to live in sf . The contrast is so drastic for food and service workers

3rd generation SF native born and raised and I hella got priced out of my city ... Moved to Houston TX making around 120k a year and even though I do hella miss home and the adjustment from the city to htown was hella different. I enjoy the life I have made for myself in the great state of TX . Having a child put everything into perspective and I couldnt possibly raise her and expose her to the grimyness of the day to day city life. I tell her back in the day growing up as a frisco kid it was like an epispde of hey Arnold. Now meeting actual Frisco natives is hella rare sight unfortunately.

Well that was depressing. I'm 56 years old, live in San Francisco, and I make less than all of them; I make around $36k per year after taxes. :/

I’m surprised some of the jobs in the Bay Area are paid for so low

I love these! I would like to see more videos from lower cost of living areas though, like maybe the Midwest. I feel like these videos make salaries elsewhere look bad but I would have to make significantly more money to live well in San Francisco!

Gentrified out of San Francisco decades ago, (but living in the far away bay area suburbs) I am a Special Ed Assistant for a public school, I make $28K a year (200 days a year) best part, satisfaction of seeing progress in children's behavior, worst part daily assaults, with a potential for serious injury. Doing this for 22 years. Just for comparison.
