Train Simulator Classic: Carlisle Special | British Rail Class 31 | Settle-Carlisle Line
Показать описание
Hello everyone; and welcome back to a new video after a year. I hope to return with some new content over time. I hope to make these videos a bit better and in a slightly different style but not that many changes really. Just providing more detail on POIs and things like that where possible. Anyway without further ado; what's in this scenario?
Today we will be driving Restored British Railways Brush Type 2 'D5515' otherwise known as the Class 31 (previously Class 30). Due to the 'D5515' numbering of this locomotive that's why I have chosen to call it the Brush Type 2 in the thumbnail as well. But anyways this scenario sets 'D5515' hauling an enthusiast railtour special with 6 British Railways Mark 1 Coaches on the Settle-Carlisle Line starting at Settle, England in the United Kingdom and traveling 74 miles north to Carlisle during a relatively clear Summers morning with a few rain showers here and there.
The scenario is a long drive and admittedly has some strange quirks with a mix of privatisation and late era nationalisation stock running on the rails during the scenario. Also please note a select few of the POIs (mainly a few viaducts) may be labeled with an incorrect name. Some viaducts / bridges I couldn't find names for; so had to take an educated guess on what it would probably have been named. For example "Penyghent View Viaduct" just after Settle Railway Station is a guess name; in hindsight though a more accurate guess to this viaduct's name would've been something like "Settle Viaduct". Regardless I hope you enjoy!
