I love the character of Vinny. He wouldn't trust Vennett to tell him the time, but in this context he knows he can trust his greed. You can also tell when he hangs up that he knows what they are betting on and what has to happen for this gamble to pay off... the collapse of the housing market and a tragic recession. I lost my house, my job, and my wife during this time period so fuck them all to hell. But at least I know now it wasn't all my fault.
