Maruti sir, it is given clearly in the question that pairs of positive integers (a, b) so does that means a = 0, b = 2018 case is not possible ? Zero is defined as neither negative nor positive integer.

For q13 we can directly do average of first and last that is 1100, 9988 average because all the numbers between them have common difference 2, so if difference is same between numbers then average is equal to first and last number
