Why did you considered only post decrement value 998 while executing second one why not ptr-- +2 =1004

*++ptr + 2= last address is 998+2=1002 ? Right so in first argument we add 1002++ so address is 1004 and +2 so final address is 1008 .. p.f of *++ptr + 2= 2+2 =4 ??
How you get 11 sir?.
