hi guys here’s a little background story :))

So the other day I made a fyolai fanart and I came up with a little au of some sort, which focuses on nikolai’s obsession with ending fyodor’s life and finally achieving freedom.
With the help of my mutuals and friends, I developed the story a bit further and we came up with lots of headcanons and scenes that fit perfectly into this world.

Technically nikolai is spending his nights and days with trying to end his suffering. In his dreams, fyodor appears again and again, to the point where he has no idea what is real anymore. He hallucinates a lot, he sees dostoevsky everywhere, he hears the man’s voice in his head, he lives in complete paranoia. After he k!lls fyodor, nothing changes. And that makes him lose his sanity even more - his derealization is slowly worsening, and he is completely helpless. There’s nothing he can do now that fyodor is gone - except, follow him to the afterlife.

It's really sad. He though it was his freedom, but god, he seems to be so so wrong. I hope he won't try somsthing silly to be free, like killing himself. I really don't to see it, but, i fon't think Fyodor died either. Kafka won't kill such a great "villian" like this, at least this is what i hope for. I love Fyodor and Nikolai. I love Fyolai as well, i just love their relitionship. I just hope they both manages to be happy
