As a United fan I think I can offer a good perspective on this.

Broke through in 22/23 season and was decent and showed good signs. Then in the 23/24 season he shined, however this was only really because of just how bad the rest of the team was which made Garnacho look like he could become a top winger. He had moments like the FA cup final, the bicycle kick against Everton and the braces against Villa, West Ham and Chelsea which all made us believe.

HOWEVER, this season he has seemingly regressed massively and although he has gotten a fair decent amount of G/A, he has been one of our worst players this season. Garnacho’s also demonstrated his huge ego which has made him an easy target for hate as he just isn’t good enough to back the ego up, he also showed his ego at times last season.

I hope I’ve provided some good insight into the situation as I really do like Garnacho but right now, I’d be contemplating selling him and getting some money to reinvest elsewhere in the squad.
