The Rational Unified Process (RUP) is an agile software development and project management framework.
The Rational Unified Process Life Cycle
The Rational Unified Process has Four Phases:
- Inception Phase
- Elaboration Phase
- Implementation Phase
- Transition Phase
The RUP Process Dimension
Across the four phases of the RUP framework are a set of processes or disciplines.
- Business Modeling
- Requirements
- Analysis and design
- Implementation
- Testing
- Deployment
