Assassin's Creed 4 - Naval Contract - A Spanish Plague Walkthrough

This is a guide for the Naval Contract ' A Spanish Plague ' in Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag. Played on PS3 for Xbox 360, Xbox one, PS4, PC, Wii U and PS3.

I had the same trouble everyone is saying.... If you are only finding British ships, you have to press the start button, press quit at the bottom and exit the animus... Once you do that, you can restart the naval contract and all the ships will be Spanish!

for anyone wondering this is what i did, i start the mission then exit the animus into abstergo, then go back into the animus and go to this location i was done so fast when before i was looking for 30 minutes

This mission would be improved if u had to sink schooners instead of gunboats

just keep going on the left hand side of the map like towards the florida in the middle of the way u might find some spanish schooners n gun boat
i hope it works for u people who r having trouble with this problem

thanks for the upload, when i accepted the contract i couldnt find the gunboats anywhere and ended up all the way down south ....

I couldn't find spanish ships at first head to the dry tortuga region, i found some there

all the boats wer british when i done it, even the ones in ur video :s

can find ne spanish anywhere!!!

Yeah i always find HMS boats i cant find spanish boats

I must have some sort of giant-ass-mist-phobia or something, because when that gunboat sailed for the edge of the map, I was off to another mission, screw that.

I restarted the mission, sunk a bunch of Spanish boats and it only counted 1 -.-

I think this mission is glitched for me, cuz I checked everywhere within a 1 million meter radius and all of the gunboats were British and they were absolutely zero Spanish ones, I don't know why they didn't Spawn from me.
Edit: I quit game and loaded back up the next day and there was a small group of Spanish gunboats nearby that otherwise wouldn't have been there, so I guess if you're having the same issue then completely close out the game and open it back up and accept the contract and hopefully they'll be something nearby.

fokkin cursed contract i really hate this one all of sudden you dont see any spanish ships anymore grrr but thanx for the advice it really work out

I took down a trillion spanish gunboats and they didnt count them bah!

In my game it was glitches there was no Spanish ships just English

There some of spanish ships near the fort you start it at and i took them down and it didnt count

Ok I've restarted it like 3 times and I still can't find any spanish ships please help
