This comment is many months after your hike, but this is a stunningly beautiful place. Your words of wisdom are perfect. We often fail from having the wrong expectations and from not being willing to adapt to what happens to us in life. Your mindset of taking things one day at a time and adapting to circumstances are what most people fail to do in life. People would be wise to live life by your advice. We all fall short on certain days, but in general, your advice is wise. I want to thru hike with my kids when they get to be teenagers. I think there are many life lessons to be learned during such a journey, not to mention the great memories that will remain for a lifetime. Your trail name should have been "Yoda." Knowing how normal cameras cannot capture the 3 demensional aspects of what you are seeing, nontheless, your go pro is relaying some expceptional footage of your trek and the summits you have conqured.

This was a great video! You made it sound like a spiritual experience... and I agree! Good that you got through Moosilauke with that wind so you're prepared for what can happen up there. Keep checking the forecasts. I've been in 80 mph winds on Washington with -20 windchill. Nothing to sneeze at :) Stay safe out there.

Wild, I have never seen anything so beautiful. I have hiked in Maine and to Katahdin. I thought that was spectacular. You were so high up, and the views. I have no words. Thank you for taking us along with you.

I had nail fungus and let it get bad over time. It went to my fingernails. Eventually 3 months of pills fixed it.

This is definitely a section you want to hike on a calm clear day! The views are STUPENDOUS!! I see there were several other people trying to get the views also. You may have met a couple of sobos lately a female named Smiles (Daisy) and Crunchmaster (Crunch, Trevor). I am glad you got new shoes.

Great to see you making good progress in the Whites, brother! Been up there a lot this season working on the NH48 and was wondering if we'd see you thru-hiking. You've gotten some decent breaks with weather at elevation and you can't beat that.
