How to make a Portable Hot Wire Foam Cutter

In this video I am going to show you how to make a homemade portable foam cutter that is made using commonly available hardware such as aluminium square tubing, old laptop batteries and some acrylic sheets.

This homemade foam cutter has variable temperature control that makes it a perfect tool to slice through foam sheets of different densities. This hot wire foam cutter can be a helpful tool for hobbiest for making rc models and foam wings as well.

I randomly saw your videos, and liked the way you presents the idea.
I would like to request you to make a device for bending acrylic sheets (line heater)...
But should be DC 12 volt based.
I have seen two videos in this regards, which were good enough but specs of the items used in those videos were not clearly mentioned.

I request you to make a one, based on the equipment, easily available in Saddar (Karachi) market.
