Once upon a time, a jackal wandered through the forest, searching for food. One day, he stumbled upon an old, abandoned drum lying under a tree. Curious, the jackal sniffed and poked at the drum, but it remained silent.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the forest, and the drum started to make a strange noise. The jackal, frightened by the sound, thought that the drum might be some kind of mysterious creature. He imagined it was a magical beast that could eat him if he got too close.

In a state of panic, the jackal ran away, but he couldn’t stop thinking about the mysterious drum. He told the other animals in the forest about the strange sound and warned them to stay away from the area where he had found it.

Soon, the news spread, and the animals, intrigued by the jackal’s story, decided to investigate the drum. When they arrived and heard the same noise, they quickly realized that it was just the wind making the drum sound. They laughed at the jackal’s fear and marveled at how a simple object could cause so much worry.

The jackal, embarrassed by his mistake, learned an important lesson about not letting fear dictate his actions. He realized that sometimes, what seems frightening or mysterious is just something ordinary in disguise.
