A full review of commercial aviation at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024. Join me for all the airshow highlights and flying displays.

At Farnborough Airshow 2024, Qatar Airways revealed the Next-Gen Q Suite. The suite on the side can now form a double suite facing each other by pushing the panel aside!

The new QSuite is 1.5 inches wider upright and 4 inches wider in bed mode than the current Qsuite. The new furnishing includes black marble top and metallic lumina. Other new features include safety locker and customized color lighting. It will be installed on Boeing 777X and new A350 deliveries.

Next, I toured inside Virgin Atlantic's new A330-900neo and Air India A350-900. Airbus has provided an update on its A350 Freighter program. Turkish Airlines has also revealed its new Crystal Business Class Suite at Farnborough.

At Boeing, National Airlines signed 4 B777 Freighter order and chairman Chris Alf explained the booming cargo market. At Embraer, I toured the new E190 E-Freighter and the E195 E2 “Tech Eagle” aircraft.

Props to Sam for showing the q-suites right at the beginning of the video. Too many creators push the interesting stuff from the title to the end, so that you have to watch/skip through content you don’t care about.

The flight attendants will have to unlock that PIN draw a lot.
Many people will forget what pin they used

Boeing made tough financial decision not to bring 737 max and 777x to FIA, to remain focused on its certification efforts

BA still not offering in flight entertainment on short haul, some of these short haul flights are 4/5 hours. thats a main reason they are so far behind rivals esp in the business class game.

Who was that kid trying to sell you a $49 million jet?

1350kmph is a blistering speed for a commercial aircraft. That is lambo fast.

F-35 is the Lightning II Sam. The F-22 is the Raptor. But it's OK. You know 150x more about regular planes than I do. I know the military ones.

Next Gen Q poses the quintessential problem of this era: CONFUSION of priorities. Multitasking is a misnomer. Are you going to have lunch, watch TV and work at the same time? ! A normal person would go crazy

As you are well aware, the aviation industry extends far beyond just new cabin designs. Various factors are converging to drive a revolution in the aviation sector. Emirates stands out as a prime example of this transformation. Contrastingly, when considering British Airways, it appears unlikely to have a significant impact on the global airline industry beyond the UK. Their business class cabin, while once considered new, now falls short in comparison to offerings from other airlines. The oversight of accommodating families traveling with children, who prefer to be seated close to their parents, is evident.

Moreover, I regret to say that Heathrow Terminal 5 presents numerous challenges, ranging from unwelcoming staff and extended queues at the business class check-in counter due to the consolidation of Club Europe and Club World, to protracted security procedures and subpar lounges. Consequently, it is difficult to envision how British Airways will compete effectively with other airlines in the coming decade.
