ChefConf 2019: Modernizing Citrix Deploys with Chef

New workloads and cloud native solutions tend to get all the attention when it comes to DevOps. However, there are significant gains, not to mention cost savings, by bringing those practices to more traditional infrastructures such as Citrix. Chef and the public cloud are critical components in this transformation process, although a skills gap exists for many Citrix admins and can lead to push-back and slowdown of adoption. The challenge is to make it accessible to beginners while still enforcing a basic level of test-driven development.
