I ate many sherbet fountains and Rowntree's fruit pastilles when I was a kid in the UK. You are supposed to use the licorice to get the sherbet (lick, dip, repeat), but the sherbet is good by itself. The word pastilles is pronounced  PAS-tuhls.

Just for anyone wondering how you eat the sherbert fountain you are supposed to leave the liquorish in the sherbert, bite off the top of it and suck the sherbert through

I used to love getting a Sherbet Fountain from the shop walking home from school when I was younger (I live in the UK) I used to be so impatient and eat the licorice really fast and then have to lick my finger and eat the sherbet that way. They used to be sold in paper packages with the licorice sticking out the top. Lots of nostalgia with them!

The Sherbet fountain is a dip.  You dip the licorice in the powder, eat and repeat.  I really liked it, but I like black licorice.

The sherbet fountain is a British sweet. You dip the sweet into the powder and eat the powder until it's all gone then you eat the sweet.

Sherbert fountain and fruit pastels are uk. With the sherbert fountain your supposed to lick the liquorise and dip it in the sherbert and then lick the sherbert off! I used to love them when i was a kid!

Have you tried Singulair for your asthma?  I have cats and I'd have asthma problems, but when I started taking singulair it really prevented a lot of my asthma issues...

its funny because i grew up on sherbet fountains had them as kids you just dip in the licorice suck it and re dip and it picks up more sherbet. The packaging used to be made of paper so it would get soggy so now the one you have is made of plastic
