Live in the present, NOT in the past

Very often, we mull over the past and make ourself feel worse, but we can’t do anything about that. We also spend a lot of time planning the future, which isn’t guaranteed either. All we really have is now, and that’s what this video about. I’ll also share some stories which show why it’s not good to dwell on things.

Wow, this video really resonated with me! I'm a VERY nostalgic person which, for the most part is fine as I have some wonderful memories. But I do sometimes find myself pining for people/places/things that are no longer in my life which can be saddening. I'm very much trying to live more in the moment and appreciate what I have right now. Great video, sir!

James good that the hospital visit turned out for the better. Yes live in the present, but like you say don't ignore the past for many good reasons. I'd hope that the event that was missed because of Hospital was rescheduled. Don't beet your self up over viewing figures, they can change at any time

Good topic and as always I love hearing your take on things-honest and sincere talks about life. I have been there beating myself up about stuff and wondering why the heck did I do that only to realize I can’t change it but I can remember not to do it again. Pretty sure I’ve wasted a lot of time beating myself about things.😕 I think it’s ok to look back and remember the good times and also know that the bad times are there but you shouldn’t dwell on them. I like the Eleanor Roosevelt saying I’ll have to try and remember that one. Thanks again James.👍😃

It took me decades to learn the lesson of not dwelling on the past and of living in the present. Sometimes it feels like I've spent half my life beating myself up over the past. What a foolish and wasteful thing that was for me to do. I still slip into that bad habit sometimes and then I start telling myself: "Focus on this hour. Live in this hour. Be in this hour." And that usually helps. Enjoyed your video.

Good topic, James. It’s never good to look at analytics! Lol It seems like we’ve been stuck at the same number of subscribers for months, gaining a few here and there, then losing one or two. It can really get you down, if you let it. Instead, we look at the comments. I recently asked on a video, why do we do this? And we had so many encouraging comments from our wonderful viewers. Great video! it’s disappointing when you’re work is not getting the response you were hoping for. I did a big update on one of my Fortnite Maps, I spent a lot of time working on it and epic didn’t add it to any pages. Topically when a map receives an update it normally gets cycled in popular pages for a day or so. But the show goes on, I’m working on updating another one of my maps. Have a great day!!
