I've already driven the entirety of Route 66 in 1999 in my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 that I built in highschool. My girlfriend, my best friend and I spent 9 weeks that summer driving from New Orleans up to Chicago to start then to California and back on I-10. I would love to do it again with my son when he graduates... In the same car I plan to give him as a graduation present.

I’ve got to agree that this channel does have great videos. But I don’t understand why they insist on using click bait thumbnails?? You don’t need them so why use them?? It makes people question your integrity.

We went on the Cabot Trail when I was a kid. My mom was terrified of the roads without guardrails. But the views are absolutely gorgeous.

What about Pacific Coast Highway in California? Awesome scenery and great ocean views.

An advertisement every 2 minutes? There's nothing that needs to be seen that bad!

The Amalfi Coast is absolutely beautiful area. It’s so much more beautiful than the video shows. Everyone should visit Italy at least once in their life.

Concerning number 2 (the Autobahn in Germany) I wanted to mention that this system of roads is never regarded as one single road.
They are depicted in a completely wrong manner in this video. It's true that in many cases, there is no speed limit. But that does not mean that people drive like crazy on it. You cannot behave like a racer and of course drivers who drive in a dangerous way will be punished. The vast majority of drivers does not exploit the fact that there is no speed limit in an unreasonable way.

The Chesapeake Highway -Tunnel before the additions was crazy, it felt like you were driving in the middle of the sea, with wave crashing over the road.

The road to Hana on Maui in Hawaii is still the sketchiest road I’ve driven on to this day. Lots of hair pin turns and 1 way bridges. It was beautiful but nuts!

I had the pleasure of being stationed in Bamberg, Germany for 3 years and let me just say that driving on the Autobahn is an experience of a lifetime!!!

I have driven Route 66 from Canada to LA. in 1966: After spending two years in Canada. This was the beginning of my homeward bound journey back to New Zealand.

Been round the arch de triumph a couple of times - the most terrifying road experience i've ever had (except from taking public buses in Malta)

I’ve actually cycled the Amalfi Coast in both directions in a day. It’s absolutely not dangerous and all the drivers were very courteous and respectful of my space

When I saw Lombart Street I immediately thought of GTA San Andreas.. They have a replica of that street on the game.. And it is incredibly difficult to drive it in-game 🤣

Norway roads gave stunning views all around. The most dangerous part was keeping eyes on the road, not because of traffic but because it was so beautiful you have to took at everything.

My family flew to Italy for my daughters wedding and we stayed in Maori. We had a driver and drove along the Amalfi coast. I sat on the edge of my seat for a few twists and turns but relaxed as our driver was well used to them. I still cant believe how narrow they are, but its well worth a visit

Very surprised to see Germanys Autobahn listed at 13:16 I've driven them for many years and consider them extremely safe. It''s only certain parts which have no speed limit, the majority of it is restricted to 130 kph (81 mph). Road surfaces are excellent and rest halts or service areas, plentiful.
