I think he may be the new God Comp dps, replacing Saurus/Talene/Lucretia.
He seems to have good synergy with Morrow and Charmizard as well.

So I think the reason he seems underwhelming is because he needs that max investment. Then he will shine bright like a diamond.
His 30 SI is key, and that 9/9 furniture makes him ridiculously strong. (If I am remembering correctly) so yeah. He might be one of those that just needs the investment. I actually thought Lucretia was trash for a time because I tried her in Labyrinth and it felt like she didn't do anything for me. But then I studied up on her and now I understand.

Everyone is comparing him to Beerus, saying we need Goku. Goku is based off of Journey to the West's monkey King. We have Wu Kong. All 3 versions of that character also use a bo staff.
