* Τῇ Αʹ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνός, μνήμη τοῦ Ἁγίου Προφήτου Ἱερεμίου.
* Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῆς ἀθλήσεως τοῦ Ἁγίου Ἱερομάρτυρος Βατᾶ τοῦ Πέρσου.
* Ὁ ἅγιος μάρτυς Φιλόσοφος ξίφει τελειοῦται.
* Ἡ ὁσία Ἰσιδώρα ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦται.
* Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ τελοῦνται τὰ ἐγκαίνια τῆς Νέας Ἐκκλησίας καὶ συνεισέρχεται ὁ Πατριάρχης ἐν τῷ Παλατίῳ κἀκεῖθεν ἀπέρχεται μετὰ λιτῆς εἰς τὴν Νέαν Εκκλησίαν, καὶ λειτουργεῖ ἐκεῖσε.
* Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῶν τριῶν νέων Ὁσιμαρτύρων Εὐθυμίου τοῦ ἐκ Δημητσάνης (Μαρτίου κβʹ), Ἰγνατίου τοῦ ἀπὸ Ἐσκὴ Ζαγαρὰν (Ὀκτωβρίου ηʹ) καὶ Ἀκακίου τοῦ ἀπὸ Νιβόρη Θεσσαλονίκης. Τελεῖται δὲ ἡ μνήμη αὐτῶν ἐν τῷ κατὰ τὴν σκήτην τοῦ τιμίου Προδρόμου σεπτῷ αὐτῶν μαρτυρίῳ.

* Τῇ ἁγίᾳ καὶ μεγάλῃ Τετάρτῃ, τῆς ἀλειψάσης τὸν Κύριον μύρῳ Πόρνης γυναικός, μνείαν ποιεῖσθαι οἱ θειότατοι Πατέρες ἐθέσπισαν, ὅτι πρὸ τοῦ σωτηρίου Πάθους μικρὸν τοῦτο γέγονε.
* Ἀλλʼ ὁ τῷ, νοητῷ μύρῳ χρισθείς, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, τῶν ἐπιῤῥύτων παθῶν ἐλευθέρωσον, καὶ ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς, ὡς μόνος ἅγιος καὶ φιλάνθρωπος. Ἀμήν.

* The holy Martyr Philosopher died by the sword.
* Devout St. Isidora died in peace.
* On this day was the dedication of the New Church, when the Patriarch entered by the Palace and from there go in procession to the New Church and liturgize there.
* On this day we commemorate the three new devout monastic Martyrs: Efthymios of Dimitsana (March 22), Ignatios of Eski Zagaran (October 8), and Akakos of Nibori, Thessaloniki. Their joint memory is observed in their holy shrine in the Skete of the Honorable Forerunner [on Mt. Athos].

* On great and holy Wednesday, as the most divine fathers ordained, we commemorate the harlot who anointed the Lord’s feet with fragrant ointment, since this occurred shortly before the saving Passion.
* O Christ God, who were anointed with the spiritual ointment, free us from the influent passions and have mercy on us, as our only holy and benevolent Lord.
