My friend Eddie Furs and I attended this game and it was a real good experience being at the ball game at the now "Citi Field" after having last attended a Met game with my father Jack when they won the world series in 1969. I'm actually really a Yankee fan but also a Met fan since they're both New York teams

I'm a lifelong Yankees fan and my twin brother is a Mets fan. We actually root for both. We know Baseball is New York like Football is Texas. I remember how incredible the Subway Series was for NYC.
It's not like LA or Chicago. Lot of people don't know that NYC can be consiered a National League town. The Mets have all that history from the Dodgers and Giants and most assume it's a Yankee town. It's really close and the fanbases are fun. Every game is treated like the World Series.

Both late game clutch hits came from two players who were 0-7 up to that point. This has been an 'Mazing year so far.

I watched this game and the Phillies closer was scared to throw his fastball after that 9th inning homerun so it was easy for the Mets to read his pitches
