I think it’s so that they can talk to other people on social media and like other peoples pictures, comment on pictures, do things like that and try and get with other people and you won’t be able to see it. Period.

I was in the silent treatment over 2 months still. But he blocked me all around the board. Not liking it but I'm living my best life. I did a injury poor guy. Already had a smear campaign. Didn't last long he failed.

They block you if they discarded you and you don't chase. I wouldn't even block them at all. Don't even let them know that you know you're blocked. You don't think about them anymore, right? Not even enough to bother finding out if you're blocked or to bother blocking them. Get on with your life. You have no time for this childishness.

Many of the reasons you mentioned speak to what happened with me. I called her out on her silent treatment and manipulation. I also called her out on her coke addiction and suggested i'd mention it to others if she didn't sort her health out. Next came the discard and me getting blocked. She told her monkeys that I was the one crossing her boundaries when I all i did was call her out on her bad behaviour and seek some semblance of accountability. Since we shared a similar circle of friends she got her flying monkeys to believe i was the crazy one trying to bother her. Pure evil narcs are

Omg! This explains exactly what I’m going through right now. This is my second narcissist since joining this group along time ago. But as my therapist pointed out I’m getting much quicker at getting rid of the Narcissists. Last time I stuck around for two years, this time I was only with him for a few months. But this is still the process I’m going through. It’s still an addiction to a person that you have to get over, so thanks for the information. I worked with someone who was on their phone all day long, giggling and typing furiously. Had two different tones for receiving texts, and I'd hear those all day long. Ostensibly, we became friends, or at least I took them at their word that we were friends, though I didn't feel it. My texts would sometimes go for six days without an answer, or they'd disappear in the middle of a conversation, not to be heard from again. But I'd still hear...ding!...ding!...ding! It was clear they were either intentionally ignoring me, or had notifications turned off for *my* texts. Months go by like this, and eventually I mention that I try not to text late at night, and they tell me not to worry about it, because they have notifications turned off. LOL. I have since come to learn this is likely intentional devaluing.

I blocked them so I could break the trauma bond and heal. Few months later I thought it was childish I guess. So I unblocked them. Not because I wanted to hear from them, but I don’t really know. But then I noticed a post of theirs in a mutual group in town, then I didn’t see it anymore. So they blocked me I guess. Lol. But then now a few months later they have unblocked me again. 🤔. I don’t know. I still care about this person, I just know they aren’t capable of returning it.

My ex narcissist use to block me after arguing then unblock me 2days later. He blocked me the other day after a little argument and he hasn't unblocked me this time. I'm greatful 🙏🏼

I did a mistake, i contacted them by mail after realising she blocked me everywhere out of blue.
